Just had a look at 'My Offers', and the AMB Accelerator has been totally removed.

I know it was running up to the end of 30th. April ...

but it isn't end of the day yet !

I am waiting on two IC nights to post points, and only needed those two nights to get my next 20,000 point bonus.

What's likely to be happening here ??

My Offers page also no longer shows the accelerator. My experience in the past with non big win promo codes has been that they have posted successfully after disappearing. In fact even got double points on a 8 night stay last year that started on the last day of that promotion. So I think as long as your stay was within the period it should post okay - difficulty being you don't have a screenshot to assist you if it doesn't.

This does not apply to big win posts which is a whole different kettle of fish. I had a HI stay post as non-qualifying 3 weeks ago and whilst it's been manually fixed - the big win tracker doesn't light up and hence 19,200 missing points to chase up.

there was speculation on the web (so probably not true) that from July 1st they were going to shift to 10ppd like they do in USA for the rest of their properties. Which I would welcome personally because I simply couldn't justify spending 1000 quid/euro for a 3 or 4 night stay in a European IC only to get 4,000 points, when I would get 15-17K points staying at a CP or HI/E.

the other thing I note is that last year my first accelerator bonus posted as Qualifying points but this year it didn't.

If it's gone and the points earn structure stays, it's a bummer.

Good news for me ...

My AMB Accelerator bonus HAS posted ( along with the expected 4,000 points for an IC stay as RA - my last ! )

Date of points posting was 30th. April.

Looks like I just scrapped it in !!

Accelerator Bonus has returned to my offers with a new expiry date of June 30. Could lend credence to rumour of a change of earn structure post July 1st. Don't see why they would reinstate it just for 3 months to have to do it again.

Accelerator Bonus has returned to my offers
Mine has as well, but to be honest, I still don't really understand what it's supposed to do. Mine says 40%......40% of what? if I get to 100% do I get bonus points or something?

You get 20000 points for every fifteen nights spent in an IC. That's USD $140 worth of points.

Ok thanks. It appears that this was effectively an ongoing promo, yes? I think my end date changed a number of times. Maybe I should jump in and get a few more IC stays (got a few booked for next Jan, so I hope it continues).

I would not bother, especially if the earn changes to one based on spend.

Loyalty Lobby reporting that Intercon hotels moving to variable spend worldwide with exception of Alliance Resorts. Good news IMO - especially since getting an IC in Australia for less than 200 is a rarity.
