Hi All,

I was looking at the cost of a business fare from AKL-MEL (one way) for Sat 19/5 at 0630AM AKL time.

On the NZ Website QF26 J Class is $689NZ
On the AU website it is $1116AU

How can this be??

I left MEL last week and I am returning Saturday. I have requested an upgrade - I'm away from home and dont have my KVS tool to see what the availability in J is like - can anyone confirm? Im QF Gold so hopefully it isnt too full...

Cheers

Actually QF match NZ sale (unadvertised). So sounds like they are restricting I booking class to point of sale NZ, which makes sense.

NZ are having a J sales, Qantas aren't.

For availability use SeatCounter - The Booking Class Availability Machine

D9 indicates your chances of an upgrade are quite good.
Bugger Kiwi Flyer just got in before me.
Yes Qantas are matching NZ but only from NZ. Well considering work here blocks the QF booking site I can only look through travel agent portals, and pay extra charges to book.:(

I think the QF26 J class airfare of $689NZ sounds good.

Don't worry what the AU website is offering. Same class of travel, same seat!
