Warning - International full service???
I recently flew QF188 from Syd-Mel. Its a domestic sector but an international flight (originates in Hong Kong). You would expect better service than domestic, right? WRONG
It departs around 8pm and on a weeknight and at that time you would expect to get a meal 'of some kind' on a domestic flight. Yet on this flight the only food to be seen was a snack box with some apricots and a water, plus some disgusting tart thing made of parmesan cheese!!
Worst of all-they don't have a coffe and tea service on this flight - I think even Impulse (RIP) offered that for free on its flights. And I was assured by the stewards that this was the meal service Always on this flight!
What is going on - I thouhgt I paid extra to fly a "full service" airline!
Lesson learnt - next time I will fly Virign and pay for the food - apparantly it tastes very good!
