I think my best was $49 SYD-CBR when DJ first flew the route?

I recently booked SYD-MEL for $18. Tigerair was selling tickets for $20 so I did a JQ price beat.

MEL-SYD and return on JQi both ways at $9.00 each way. Price matched JQ with TT. Those were the days :D

I snagged a few of the JQ $1 fares back when they had them. Best result was 4 seats all on the same flight MEL to LST early morning and included our golf clubs as well as an evening return same day! $1 each leg per person.... $8 return total for of 4 us (also had QF lounge access both ways) and to top it off it was LST Cup day too!!!!

I've done a $9 JQi SYD-MEL (TT status match).

Before Impulse was transitioned to Jetstar I flew Qantas on several ~$49 MEL/SYD & BNE/SYD fares. (Back then red e deals were unchangeable - you flew as booked or didn't fly (IIROPS/flow forward excepted)).

Best was BNE-NTL return when Jetstar in 2009 for 5c each way, 20c return for two with seat selection.

This years best was SYD-OOL for my parents at $8.10 each way (Tiger price match) and BNE-CNS for us both and FIL $18 each way again (Tiger price match to Jetstar), Saturday morning to Cairns and Sunday afternoon home.

Several $1 all in NZ Grab-a-Seat offers, back when I thought it was worth going on the website ready to quickly grab a same day return. Then NZ changed the system and never went back to look at the website again.
For QF $0.27 plus $28 for fuel surcharges, airport and security fees....WLG-AKL and return....

A $35 JQi SYD - MEL,
it was TT price matched, even got QF FLounge, drank and ate way more than $35 worth at the FLounge.

$14 SYD-MEL on TT around the time they started up.

Cheapest international was in January 2006 SYD-SIN-AUH-LGW for $99 on a chartered Thomson Fly charter flight with no catering or IFE a few days out from departure.

Probably not the cheapest, but certainly the best value was back when VA had their stuff up fares. I can't remember the details but C2C in J for (I think) something like 0 points + $50. Or was it $0 + 50 points??? Can't
remember, but it was cheap.

Once upon a time, Tiger had a sale on for $1 airfares, Melbourne to Hobart.
Good old Jetstar & their price beat guarantee of 10% :).
= Got the flight for $0.90 on Jetstar !
