What I ate today - the food thread

Where is this @anat0l ?

Good breakfasts are hard to find in Brisbane, especially on our side of town.
Dark Tonic Roasters

They also do a huge coffee, if that's your thing.

I'm sure there's a few good places in the Chermside area which have great or excellent breakfasts. I can rate the Farmhouse in Kedron, if you can find a parking spot.

Just realized that I haven’t posted any lunches yet this year. Got a couple to post.

Today was Blackbird restaurant on Eagle Street. Private room (Cellar Room) with a well known fund manager. Hammered him with questions whilst we ate.

Assuming you can read the 6 point (we all had issues, a couple were using their magnifying glasses):

My seatmates entree looked good:

Bit disappointed with the tuna, very bland

Pork was nice, but not stellar

The dish of the day. Rice pudding with pear slices. Awesome. Had to have a 2nd one as another participant had left before dessert served

The cellar room. All young wines.
