What cheeses me off

WCMO are these glass water bottles with metal pull caps provided to guests at Grand Hyatt SIN - I just do not get it.

Rip the pull cap off the top and then you have an opened unspeakable bottle of water from then on

With the ring pull ones we had in Thailand @Cruiser Elite , the cap can be placed back on top - I only figured it out after 2 weeks

Seriously, am starting to wonder whether being poor and not travelling nearly as much is a better option

Local newspaper. Has a bird flu 'confirmed deaths' count, notwithstanding that the local authorities have said that they aren't testing every dead carcase. Confirmed death meaningless.
