What cheeses me off

Having dinner at the fancy restaurant in my Bangkok hotel.

No one‘s come to eat the food. They’ve only come to photograph themselves with it.

As in the table next to me for the last 15 minutes, I’m not exaggerating - constant photographs with the food for 15 minutes. Each photograph proceeded by “ 1….2..”

Then inspect the photographs. Then re-photograph.

Banyan Tree Bangkok. Whole place is giving me the irrits.

Another WCMO. Waste of food. WCMO - restaurant dishes that are much too large and so I have to waste food because I can't eat it all.

Sitting in a castle outside CPH having a special zero birthday lunch with family. Gorgeous event. We move into lovely small side room where coffee is served. There are 8 of us but a group of three tossers sits right in the middle taking up tables meant for six so we cling onto the edges of the room. Waitress leaves the room and A—ehole No1 lights up. We were dumbstruck. Waitress walks in and tells him to stop. She leaves room again and he looks furtively from left to right and lights up again. Sister and I in unison tell him (loudly)put.it.out!
What a jerk

WCMO. We sat down in a quiet alley just now for a quick drink. Off the main tourist area. Down next to us plops a couple, where the rather overblown woman starts talking to two staff members so loud. And smoking. I know. It's what people do. As we finished our drinks I realised she had headphones in so was yelling because she couldn't hear herself. Nor others not that she was listening to them. The owner came to take money and we just said it was just too noisy to stay any longer and he just shrugged in agreement. As we walked past other small establishments they all seemed blissfully peaceful.
