What cheeses me off

WCMO is when I hand over a canvas bag full of re-usable plastic shopping bags to the checkout operator, who proceeds to tip all the plastic bags out and use the canvas one to pack the groceries - while I was busy still unloading my trolley, so no chance to ask them not to. I clearly use the canvas one to store and carry my re-usable plastic ones because there are many plastic ones, and only a single canvas one....Now I have a canvas bag stained with blood that leaked from poorly packaged meat, and nothing sturdy to store all my plastic ones in.

So this is a fair dinkum WPedMO. Last night 7.20 cooking a simple dinner so we can watch the NRL at 8. Knock on front door - friend of wife turns up for a chat. Oh that smells nice - yes just chicken and mushrooms, we are going to watch the rugby, there is plenty here would you like some? - no I've eaten thanks, I'll just have a juice, no wine for me.
Anyway 20 minutes late everything turned off, chicken over cooked mushrooms OK but veggies just mashed.
At 8 o'clock I excuse myself with - I want to watch the rugby.
By half time (I've nearly drunk a bottle of wine) wife's friend says - I'm off enjoy the football and dinner - great thanks.
That is positively rude IMO so I was really PedO.

The reheated dinner was sh#t and the game was C#*p .Wife didn't get any of the wine. A lovely shiraz but wasted on my mood. I should have just drunk beer.
Why would a normal person be so Impolite? I just don't get it. If I did something like that my parents and grandma would turn in their graves.

I would have checked again she didn't want anything when meal was ready then served it out. So unthoughtful.

No need to delete your posts. I'm not taking them the wrong way. I enjoy discussion.

I said someone dressing like trash cheeses me off. They might be the nicest people in the world but show very little respect for themselves for something that should remain private and they won't get any respect from me.

And yes I do understand what they are doing is not illegal. It may not even be immoral. Why does it bother me? We're openly sexualising everything. It's wrong that a 16 year old girl with developed breasts is showing them in public with just a low cut bra or letting them dangle in a see through tshirt with no bra.

Why can't we speak up? Why do we always have to support them?
Err, that's what we wore in the early 70s when part of the hippy culture at uni (no bra and cheese cloth which was basically see through). Hardly new. And I grew up OK 🤣

To get back to the thread WCMO, the people who insist on parking in the first row in the local multi story car park which is poorly designed and this row has all the incoming traffic so there is masses of parking elsewhere but they stop and then reverse into the spot (or alternatively reverse out) and hold up a stream of incoming cars.

This happens in my work carpark because everyone is desperate to park as low down as possible in the most awful carpark. The queue to get in banks down the laneway then down the major road at peak times waiting for these numpties.

Adults right? So it's OK for 14-16 year old girls to walk around malls without bra and wearing see through tshirts? And no it's not ok for 17-21 year old girls either.

Agree
When I grew up 👵👵 my parents never turned up unannouced around ‘meal times’ ie 11-2 or 5-7 as pax may be cooking or eating. No phone calls after 8 (they’ll think someone is dead). If you do arrive and people eating/preparing excuse yourself and go as you dont need the powers of the supernatural to predict what comes next .
Meal cooked
Meal eaten

I can only imagine some pax are just rude and dont consider others at all… probably think I am a grumpy old woman.

That said; my parents/grandmother were so generous that anyone who turned up whenever was fed (no one starved as Italians cook ++).😂😂

Not being able to stop this constant harassment from dating ads. I cannot see a way to say I do not want to see these type of ads.

I thought I'd already stopped them but then they just appear again.

WCMO is that I installed solar panels almost two months ago and yesterday was the first day I actually started generating any power. Largely thanks to Energy Australia taking a month to install a smart meter and then the technicians coming back to set up the system making four visits to finally get it right. Didn't have the parts, roof too wet, one bloke was sick, not enough sun...
But it's working now!

That's eerily reminiscent of the first passengers getting on the plane in Y being seated near the front and taking an eternity to load their umpteen bags/coats/shopping up top, delaying the whole plane boarding.

WCMO is having a new phone and having to set up all all the "locked" type apps eg MyGov, NSW services , banking apps. Great it is secure and can't just be cloned, just a bit tedious lol

My best friend of 50 years and I still abide by our mothers' edict of "no calls before 9am or after 9pm ☎️
We don't even text unless it's a medical emergency (other exception when she was robbed on a Milan train - it was 7pm her time to be fair!)

Nope doesn’t work. Only for that session. Will come back unless the hosting service blocks them. Only way is to run an AddBlock or some VPNs.

or contact the host and request they don’t steal you info and send your data out to advertisers.

Ads served up are rarely completely random, so something you have been searching or browsing is telling the algorithm you want to date. You can clear cookies, browse incognito or use ad blockers to help.

Yesterday i was searching BDM for an ancestors parents name and now im seeing service nsw ads but since i just scroll past i care not.

WCMO is Hobart Airport - no surprises there - but they excelled this Sunday afternoon. Security queue well over 100m and 2-4 pax wide - maybe 200m if you unwind the bends at the front. If you know the HBA landside, it was from the Security point right back to the bag carousel.

Both sides of the security point were operating.

Yep. We had the same issue this time last year. With Origin. The installers were brilliant. Now if only the feed in tariff was higher. We generate five times more electricity than we use but still get a bill.
