What cheeses me off

I looked into Equifax.
Couldnt be bothered looking into the others.
Im so over creating new accounts, confirming identities....

Your credit score and what is reported will be different between all 3

I am excelled on 2, and one of them I'm average and falling every month since I have a new credit card

Perfect payment history

Why cant banks tell you the reason why you get rejected when applying for credit card???
I got rejected now by Westpac (first ANZ), despite me on high income, no debts, payed everything on time, own home outright...
In my rejection letter, it states they use credit reporting bodies - so i grabbed my credit history, and its in the excellent range. No problem what so-ever.
Ill see if I can call them directly to get an answer. Frustrating
Are you in that age range where they say you might suddenly retire and only have a huge monthly self-funded pension, that the credit providers do not regard as 'reliable' income ??

Not that old!! Early 50,s.
Called up Westpac before, and basically spoke to a robot..
She told me the reason I was rejected was that based on their info, I would have trouble 'servicing' my credit card.
WTF Told her that I have had credit cards for 10 years plus, always paid in time, NEVER defaulted on anything, so how would I have trouble?? House paid off, no loans. Common sense is lost on some people.
Only thing against me was im the sole wage earner in family.
She still insisted in me having trouble 'paying' it off.
Anyway, got told it would be reviewed again.

Yep total limits make a difference even though CC paid off every month
But the point is there is a lack of granular info for the CC applicant to consider. Why can’t the banks say the reasons
Unfortunately, this was the reason given to me yesterday.
'Problem' is, I have made around $280,000 in extra repayments (havent closed off the account), and on top of my current credit card limit of $20,000, I have $300,000 line of credit.
I jokingly told the person that this just proves Im a good with my money, and a great reason I should be approved...They still said I was high risk.
Oh well, there is nothing much I can do now - I tried and I failed, but I still think its all BS.

Online stores. You put something in your basket and click to buy. You enter your details and it says that email is associated with an account so please log in. So you log in and insert same email and the saved password and it says password is wrong. So after a second go and fail you click Forgotten Password. You enter the same email and it says that email isn't associated with an account.

Another instance, forgotten password so you enter your email, sends you the link to update password which you do, then you have to log in again. You enter that new password and you get the message that the password is wrong.

I thought that was how all technology is supposed to work !! To make life 'easier' for humans, having assistants called computers.

...... when those doing catalogue setup at the store, won't do proper testing. 1x 600ml Coke bottle variety - normally $5.90, but $8 when purchasing 2 bottles in a single transaction.

Tried doing a refund for a customer who purchased 2x 600ml Coke bottle, the refund amount was $11.80, when they were originally charged $8 ... :(

Accessing AFF on android mobile or tablet using chrome (without a paid ad free account) is near impossible, the weirdo ads float over the menu options, obscure posts and frequently cause cursor to move whilst typing mid-sentence then the whole screen is taken over by a promo for Mattg's seminar and you have to hit back a bunch of times to be able continue typing or reading a post.

I didnt have any issues when I had a paid account; but now even on desktop I often have to scroll all the way to top of a post to get alerts to be clickable due to the random advert behaviour.

There are ads in between every 3rd reply, in the footer, on the bottom right hand side and the random floating ones (anywhere between 1 and 3 at a time) the most adverts of any site I visit by a mile.

I understand need ads for the revenue, but on other sites they dont obscure content from being easily read. And the randomly moving cursor makes it much harder than ti should be to reply or ask questions.

AFF Supporters can remove this and all advertisements

Mine is exactly the same and I'm on a Samsung S20. It frustrates me no end when the cursor keeps on jumping a couple of rows and when you press the backspace it jumps about 20 rows forward then I need to go all the way back up to continue. In some instances the whole post disappears and I have to go back to the main screen to go back to the topic to find what I have written so I can continue.
