Westpac Altitude Platinum Card - 60k Qantas, $50 fee first year

I applied for this card back in Jan 2019 and 'thought' at the time it came with 2 Qantas lounge passes. I've decided now I'd better order them before closing the account, but I'm starting to wonder if infact this card did come with the passes. I normally take a screenshot and print off the offer, but I'm struggling to find both.

Can someone please advise if the lounge passes were part of the offer back in January.
Thank you.

I've never know the Westpac Platinum Qantas to come with lounge passes.

It's usually the Black level cards that come with lounge passes.

Have anyone worked out the cheapest way to trigger the "direct spend with Virgin Australia" to activate the complimentary Economy X upgrades?

I'm still working my way through Amex credits, so no plans to buy a flight with cash at the moment.

Live chat told me a velocity points booking will count as "direct spend". Am yet to test it out.

Hi All
I have held this card ( through its various morphs) for about 20 years i reckon. I guess its my rock so to speak & have held onto rightly or wrongly because of reading it was not a bad idea to do this with one particular card.
Do others think i should dump it maybe & replace it with another offering me a nice sign up bonus? Or is it possible i could have a whinge & westpac might offer me a bonus for sticking with it?

I'd say there is no chance of them giving you a bonus for sticking with it.
There's a 12 month exclusion clause for Westpac QFF cards of any type, so if you close your card account, be prepared to wait 12 months.
Don't worry because there are plenty of other decent QFF cards available.

I turned up not applying in the end as I held an additional day and the fee increased to be $150 + $50! So I applied for the Citibank card instead.

Am thinking about this one as I'm locked out on most banks right now to get through the waiting periods. Not sure whether I can justify the 60,000 for $200, but might do it anyway to continue the churn...
