Maybe not - I was thinking I couldn't post the actual review, didn't consider the score so I will edit my post :(

So if I said that XX wine got 96 from Halliday and 94 from TWF in the nice wines thread I could be in trouble?

can't say for sure but i think just talking about scores is fine, just don't post any pictures up , that's copyright/trade mark issues that we wanted to avoid.
 
that time of the year again, saw this mix pack online for $600(one bottle each).

for $360 or less from wendouree mailer, this retailer mades $240 pure profit. pay tax?who knows.

Wrote my initial letter today. Would be nice just to be on the list for next year. Was a godsend to stumble across this thread. I feel like a Wendouree expert after reading 26 pages and 3 vintages worth of posts, without ever actually drinking the stuff. There’s also now an element of TV series drama with Dr Ralph possibly blacklisted! My two cents, there has to have been an administrative error or impatience. One question for all you devotees, if you had to compare their style and flavour profile to another wine/winery, what would it be?

none.

there are people believes its just a hype, i have a wine hype list myself but thats just my own preference.
if you ask to compare the style and flavour profile of penfolds, i think that will be a easier question.
 
As a recommendation, I would suggest buying a few at Auction to try before you buy.
Stylistically they are hard to compare with other Australian producers. If anything, some young Barolos I've had compare with their acid & tannin structure.

They are unique and for the price outstanding value. If they charged $150 a bottle they'd still sell the same amount of product.
 
i do recommend to try other wines from the same region as well, there are other winery from clare that does have the same blends, google is your friend.
