No priority Q to board the buses...very long Q at QF headquarters!

Some of us were lucky enough to get priority boarding ;)

Great to catch up with everyone and a splendid event put on by QF.
She's an absolute beauty :D
Happy Birthday Qantas !!

She looks great :D

Thanks to those taking the time to share their pictures here (and elsewhere).

Gorgeous. VH-VXQ is a lucky girl to have been chosen to be Retro Roo II.

I love both Retro Roos.

However, I wonder why QF didn't select a wide body aircraft to advertise the airline better overseas?

The few special livery A380's from SQ and EK don't seem that special to me. I would love to see an A380 will with a full make over!

Come on QF; do it and lead from the front!

Good thoughts :)
Alan Joyce mentioned in his address today that the original RetroRoo had been a big hit for QF, above and beyond what they had expected. This inspired the decision to recreate the 707 for the 95th Birthday. I agree that a special livery A380 would be a great idea. Nice if it was a B787 but perhaps too long to wait. QF could do one aircraft annually leading up to the 100th :)
