Welcome Email From The Trafalgar

I recently made a booking at The Trafalgar and received the following email from them today:

"We are delighted that you will be staying with us and I personally want to ensure all arrangements are in place for you, prior to your arrival.

The Trafalgar Hotel is a unique property in the Hilton portfolio and the only unbranded Hilton in the world, therefore, instead of looking for the usual Hilton logo, the blue “H”, please look out for the Union Jack flags on the south side of Trafalgar Square for identification of our location.

As a valued HHonors member, we are committed to delivering the highest quality of service to you and to provide you with a most unique and unforgettable experience in our Hotel. Therefore, we will be grateful should you wish to let us know of any special requirement you may have, so that we may deliver it according to your full enjoyment.

As to provide you with a flawless experience, we would appreciate if you could kindly inform us on some important aspects of your journey:
ü Your arrival time and if assistance with transportation is required;
ü Any specific dietary requirements;
ü Are you celebrating a special occasion;
ü Bed type preference

We look very much forward to welcoming you to the Trafalgar Hotel and please do not hesitate to contact me or any of my Guest Service team

I'm easily won over but I have to say I was impressed :)
This is the first time I have ever received an email like this from any Hilton property.
This will be my 4th visit to The Trafalgar and hopefully it will be a pleasant stay.

I wonder if anyone else has had similar welcome emails from individual Hilton Properties? I think it is a great idea (provided of course that the hotel actually delivers on benefits).
 
I had a welcoming email from Denver Downtown Hilton Garden Inn. It was the only one of the 15 different Hilton brand hotels I stayed in whilst in the USA during May.

They delivered on their promise and I provided feedback expressing my satisfaction.

Should be done more often in my opinion.

I concur and no, I've never received such an email but I think just recently others were stating they have.

I'm also impressed and I hope you have an AdFab stay Princess!

I'm booked at The Trafalgar in September. No welcome like that at this point, but they did answer a query I had about room capacity very quickly.
 
I received the following before my AUH stay:

Dear Ms. JessicaTam,

Thank you for choosing the Hilton Abu Dhabi for your visit to Abu Dhabi.

In our efforts to ensure a smooth and hassle-free arrival, we would like to offer you our assistance in organizing your arrival.

Kindly email us your travel itinerary in order for us to prepare your room & special requirements to ensure a smooth check in experience.

Should you require an airport pick-up, please let us know and we can book it accordingly.
The cost for a Limousine car from Abu Dhabi airport to Hilton Abu Dhabi is 140 Dirhams and can be charged to your room upon arrival.
The cost for a Limousine car from Dubai airport to Hilton Abu Dhabi is 400 Dirhams and can be charged to your room upon arrival as well.

Ms. JessicaTam , as our valuable Hilton Honors member, your comfort and satisfaction is our utmost priority, so please let us know if there is anything else that we could further assist you with.

When is your stay Princess Fiona? I have a stay coming up at the Trafalgar next weekend (16-19th)and no such email for me. Maybe your diamond status helps?

I've had for a few, can't remember them all... but off the top of my head DoubleTree by Hilton Istanbul Old Town, Hilton Prague Old Town.

I'm there from 23rd -27th Sep. I have never received any emails from them on previous stays, most recently March.
Haven't replied yet but will do requesting a specific room type and see what happens
