I will be attending a conference in Montreal in October this year and am intrigued at the web sites offering discount business class fares.
Has anyone used this type of service? And are they trustworthy :?:

Welcome to AFF, onthego

I use online travel agents (e.g. zuji.com.au, cleartrip.ae) regularly to check fares, just select Business as your class of travel (or Premium economy) and see what they come up with.

When booking I generally use the website for the relevant airline though. Just a habit of mine. Others will have different habits.

welcome to AFF :D

Be very wary - many of these sites obtain flights using FF points/miles and onsell them which is against the T&C's of any real loyalty program I am aware of - if such is discovered it is likely your flights would be cancelled - you might find out so as late as checkin.

What web sites were you considering?

Thank you for your welcome and for your advice, I have approached AlphaFlightGuru and JetNsave, has anyone had experience with either of these? And thank you for the warning I'm a little bit apprehensive going in this direction without confirmation from someone who has used these types of services.

I too would be wary, I've been approached about using them for clients flights but I wouldn't touch them, just not worth it.

As the saying goes, if it seems too good to be true.....

Many thanks, have looked at the referred sites and have decided to let discretion be the decision and play safe with the big boys. onthego
