Watching English Premier League matches

Nothing quite like an EPL game though, is there!

In addition to my visits to Emirates I have been to EPL matches at West Ham (to sing the "Bubbles" song) & Charlton (where they sang "Red red robin"), to Championship matches at Nottingham Forest (singing "City Ground" to Mull of Kintyre) and an FA cup replay at Fulham (Craven Cottage). All great experiences, and manage to make the hairs on the back of your neck stand up!
Back in the mid 90s when I lived in London, I lived not far from Loftus Road. Used to go and see QPR every second week for 10 quid, except the big games like Man U and then we'd sit on the roof and listen to the roar of the crowd.

Can't believe you helped a gooner........ ;)

Also if you are a member of a local supporters group, (like ozspurs) they have contacts with the club and when overseas supporters get to a game they usually help out, so go down that path too.

Not sure how that would play out with games like Manure or Chelski, but most games are not a problem.

Looking forward to the draw coming out in a few days, I've got a Europe trip or two to see what games I can squeeze in.

COYS TTID.
The game I saw vs Palace, we won 2-nil (Erikssen and Defoe scored). They missed the worst penalty shot I have ever seen in the first 10 minutes. My seat (I say seat, but everyone stood) was near the visiting Palace fans. They were great. the atmosphere was a bit ho hum to be honest, and the Palace fans were singing "Is this the Emirates, is this the Emirates?..."

First time I have seen the boys since 1982, so i was in my element.

5 players appeared on the Pitts street mall about 11am on the Saturday for a rebel sport promo, and i was luckily enough to bump into Kane on the way to the mall so i got him to sign my shirt ....

Spurs supporters met at the Opera house for a group photo and some clown turned up in his goons shirt......

Sydney trains played there part at renamed the train White Hart Lane Express

Simple question when did you guys last finish above us ? :)

You do know for us its about the beautiful game and playing the spurs way, not a gooner would understand that ;) there is no point finishing 4th and playing like plods , we much prefer to constantly finish 5th or 6th and play with panache. ;)
Plus deep down inside we really do have a soft spot* for Woolwich Wanderers . ;)

*Actually we don't.

I'll ponder on this as I put on my FA cup winners T-shirt that arrived this week.
