Waitlist availability showing but unable to complete

Trying to waitlist 4 x J class. Found 4 savers on certain dates on several occasions and gone through the whole booking process including selecting nominees. At basically the final screen, get "We cannot process your request right now. Please try again later, or get in touch with your local Singapore Airlines office." Contact SQ call centre, told that there is no actual availability and the problem of waitlist online is a known issue.

Has anybody else experienced this? I have experienced waitlisting problem to Europe over several months.

Aware that the probability of getting 4 x J saver is low and probably need to be willing to fly at short notice. However, find process of waitlisting when waitlist availability showing but unable to complete frustrating.

My experience was similar. In my case one of my nominees that I was trying to redeem for was under 18 and needed to be processed separately with a authorisation form.

You could try breaking the waitlist requests into smaller bookings. In our case we had confirmed and ticketed seats for the adults and then used that to leverage the availability for the two kids.
