Of course I know that a Qantas voucher cannot be applied to a multi-trip ticket. Did I kno what before I accepted the option of the Voucher as a refund knowing I would be making a rebooking soon?

Is the multi-trip restriction only made apparent when trying to use the voucher?

Anyone had success getting a refund voucher applied to an international open jaw booking?

IME, you could call with such a voucher and use it for any booking including multi booking with no service fee being assessed.

Make the distinction between it being a refund, not a gift.

I've been able to use a refund voucher on one-way, return and multi-city trips.

As always if you don't get the right answer first time keep calling until you get the right answer.

Well eventually I was able to get it processed.

It's a trade off between the hours of calling and chats and the rate at which the lower cost inventory gets consumed. For a $400 voucher....less the $99 rebooking from being an original red-e deal less the $50 fare difference from when I first started booking to when I actually got it completed.

In the end, it had about 50% value of it's face value.

Happy days.
