VISA Waiver Program to USA

It’s been like that for an eternity. We used to get the green I-94 chit stapled to your BP that mostly was taken at boarding.

I was once on a work trip and a colleague had an old green chit in his PP on reentering the US. The immigration guy gave him the 3rd degree on why he’d overstayed but fortunately he was able to show a stamp into Fiji. Why he hadn’t tossed the green chit beggers belief…🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

You still get them on the land borders. I had the same problem entering from Mexico by land and exiting by air. I ended up just self removing it from my passport.

You can complete the form before you board your flight. Save it and then press submit as you arrive. Be ready to take a “selfie” as part of the lodgement process - obviously you’ll need data access.

We recently arrived into SFO via HKG using seperate MPC submissions (easy as) but you could also submit one entry for both (you can add family members to the submission). Not sure how the selfie bit works for multiple peeps on one form?
If you are the primary traveller and you add your partner/family/etc to your submission, when you land in US you take the first selfie and the app then moves on to the next traveller, pass the phone to that person, take selfie, then moves onto the next person, etc. Works well if you are all sitting together and if not just need to wait till deplaning.
