Virgin points to Kris flyer - lounge access

Hello all,

just wonder if i am transferring points from virgin point to Kris Flyer for a family holiday to Thailand for economy rewards seats. Virgin seat rewards were ridiculous by the way.

Would like to know if being a VA Platinum member and partner a VA gold if will we still have access for the lounges in Singapore and Thailand ?

According to International lounge access | Virgin Australia then yes - lounge access available. In SIN it will be the somewhat underwhelming KrisFlyer Gold lounge (though that may have been renovated when you fly) - not the Silver Kris Business Class lounge. SQ have a lounge in BKK, but perhaps not other Thailand destinations.

"Lounge access is available when the flight you are travelling on is a Singapore Airlines or Silk Air operated flight and the lounge is owned and operated by Singapore Airlines."
