Hello everyone,
It has been 1.5 years since i have flown from Melbourne to Sydney with Virgin.
I know that the Virgin check in counters are located at T3, and to get to the lounge,
you will have to go through security at T4, and then walk back to T3 to reach the lounge.
Is that correct ?
And is T4 far away from T3 ?

Check in is located at the same place, then follow the signage down the escalator to security. It’s fairly intuitive and - I find - much quicker now if using the priority line.

Once through security you’ll be in the food and retail precinct. Gates 1-10 are to the right. Gates 11-20 are on the left. VA uses all of them on occasion.

I would allow the same time to get through as previously.
