Hi all.
Appreciate some advice.
I'm planning a trip next year to Penang and I'd like to book VA codeshare with Singapore Airlines as I have status with VA and an eye on credits.
No problem to book return flights from Sydney using the VA online booking engine. However I've decided I'd like to spend a few days in Singapore on one leg (all flights connect via Singapore), which makes it a multi city booking, and that it won't do
Are my options only to either use VA call centre and will I be charged for this? Or use a travel agent? (probably a better price but I prefer to book direct with airline if possible). I also checked booking with Singapore Airlines directly, but for some reason my preferred flights are substantially more expensive this way.
I'm feeling quite frustrated as the flight SIN>PEN is a one hour flight on Silk Air...
I'm also hanging out for a double status credits offer if at all possible
If I can't book online, does that mean no discount codes and no gift vouchers?
