I cant remember VA having regular DSC offers.
They do randomly appear, but only occasionally and just like QF, I suspect that many are targeted at those members who are in an SC range where they could be ‘encouraged’ to spend more now to achieve a better status level next year or to maintain the status quo.

I can't remember any VA discount codes that have not had a 20 day or so advance booking requirement in the last couple of years.
However, VA occasionally have sales such as "Mates Rates" or similar that do come up with some substantial % off discounts, the trouble is they are not very often and usually of short duration (sometimes as short as 2 or 3 days).

CMZ59 Gives you 5% off without the usual advance period. Worked for me on a booking under 7 days yesterday. Though it only worked on the full site, didn’t work on the mobile booking site.

I want to fly to Calgary Canada on Virgin Australia which goes via LA is there any promo code which can give me some discount on this return flight I am looking to fly in End of Aug returning early September

I suspect the problem is that Virgin Australia doesn't actually fly to Calgary. The codes are only valid on Virgin-operated flights.

Thanks for letting me know I know Virgin doesn't fly to Calgary it has code share agreement with Air Canada so generally from Australia to LA it's virgin then LA to Calgary is Air Canada & yes I have used a code in past for Calgary flight & it did work but this time I can't find correct promo code so was hoping anyone knows or may be promo code to fly to US on VA flight

If you have a Virgin Mobile, there 10% on that. Also try Amex travel. I haven't yet had time to see if that's also 10%.
