Also what code did you use?

I tried to book a ticket NTL-BNE during the Happy Hour sale on the mobile site and using GMH58.

The box was there BUT when the fares come up it says: "Our system did not find any promotional fares for the given promotional code"

Equals.. no promo fair =/

Are you using the mobile site or app? I tend to find the promo box disappears on the website during Happy Hour (using desktop PC), but usually shows up if I check using the iPad.

i was using the website. I find the phone/ipad app annoying.

That probably means the offer was directed to staff of their corporate accounts.
That isn't the fare basis for VA staff travel.

What surprised me was my booking was already a sale price for SYD-ADL @ $115 (already a great price) and then with the promo code the price came to $109.38...

This is my first post on AFF! I'm a WP and planning to do some SC runs to retain WP for another year. I've noticed that the GJM59 promo code works for some of the legs I was going to purchase J class for. My concern is that VA will cancel your ticket or perhaps do something awful (like not award SC's) if they discover that you weren't entitled to use the promo code.

Any thoughts on the matter?
