I've just wasted 1hr of my life looking for an Upper Class seat from Syd to Lhr around May June July next year.

Nothing. At all. Not even in... Choke... Y!!

And their booking engine is 3rd world!! Grrr

Yup, as I previously posted, good availability to HKG, but not so good LHR.

Hi,

I think there is a problem with the VS award system for SYD-LHR-SYD.

If you break up the search, i.e. SYD-HKG and then HKG-LHR there is availability. Well I checked for 3oth April 2012.

I asked ~4 weeks ago if anyone can confirm if this promotion is indeed on. No replies.

Still cannot find anything on the Amex website regarding this promotion.

Both of those look to be very good value. I beieve as a VA Platinum one can also get lounge access.

Well the 20% bonus transfer promotion may still be going and the 15% off buy miles promotion may still be going but the 20,000 miles one-way SYD-HKG in premium economy did not last long. I went to book it recently and it had jumped back up to 27,000 miles.

I can wait for the right time now instead of locking in a date many months in advance.
