So my theory of Qatar purchasing Virgin and renaming it Qatar Australia and then Qatar defecting to *A is off the cards?

Virgin Australia is advertising "Something Wonderful is Coming" on 23/10/2022 across their social media platforms. Could this be related to the twice-cancelled event because of cOvId?

They have actually. They’re running what they’re calling a ‘middle seat lottery’ where if you end up sitting in the middle seat you can enter the draw for prizes including buckets of points, cruises, flights etc. It can be dismissed as fairly trivial but I’ll give them credit for at least something in respect of the middle seat experience.
 
That’s lovely and all but yesterday they had one of the worst days in a long time re cancellations. I moved my flight forward a day and thank god I did otherwise I would have been delayed a day.

Should have launched it when the place had some operational stability.

I wouldn’t say it’s a wonderful experience flying anyone at the moment. Let’s get through Xmas and see what happens once the rush has finished Jan 31. Wonderful in my book is arrival and departure performance back to the mid to high 80s and cancellations 1/2%.
