Vinomofo Wine Deals

Quite tempted by this. I have liked many vintages of the Leston CS and Shiraz. But together and for $35 when we're all awaiting the EoFY flood, I'm just a bit hesitant, then FOMOey, then hesitant etc etc etc...
Is this this Hardy's?

I feel like there's solid wine deals every week, there's only so much wine anyone can buy in a short period for sales esp when they probably need to spend money elsewhere too.

Does anyone know if there are any Vinomofo discount codes at the moment? I’ve searched and tried a few on the internet, but they are either for new customers or expired.
Thanks

I don’t think I ever had MR Cab Shiraz.
And never liked MR Shiraz on it’s lonesome just not my ideal shiraz.
Timely, had an old Fo Harewood 2011 Reserve Cabernet last night and it was seriously good. All of those wine critic pleasantries could be found there and it does show the strength of the Margy Cab but we all knew that. As far as this blend goes, I am just finishing month five buying nil. One to go I think.

I think Harewood is Great Southern, rather than Marg River fruit

Yes,oops, but I just squeezed in the state correctly. I did a swap with a mate last week, and on Friday I knocked back his one, which was tasted blind, and I got the shiraz correct, the state correct but i thought it was about 4 to 6. Ended up being a Taylors 2019 S limestone/Clare so i did alright but compared to the complexity of the Harewood, the Taylors was a simple quaffer. Hard to win against the king of the grapes but since i probably paid about $15 for it, can't complain.

I was just reading a few of the last weeks comments here and the 2019 Rosenvale Vine Vale Rd Shiraz popped up. Still for sale actually. I bought the 2017 and had it in August 2020 and it was a beauty. Had it in October and it blew me away that time.

I reckon my last buy at the fo was the Rosenvale 2016 GSM. Had to be December or November. The first bot was ok , simple, a bit fruity, you know those ones but it changed in the next two botts tasted months later. Not as good as Vine Vale Rd, but at $15 i think it was, great buying. Makes the $20 for Vine a stunning bargain, one of those classics from the fo, that we all used to wax lyrically about.

I rate the Blue Poles Shiraz highly (you could say it is PERfect ), other than it I don’t remember thinking much of any other WA Shiraz - maybe @JohnM has some suggestions on what WA / MR shiraz’s to try if we see them in our travels.

having a look through Cellar tracker the only other I have purchased was a case of ‘13 3 Oceans The Explorers Shiraz from VM a good few years ago - just 1 left and it’s a fair quaffer

There are some really awesome Great Southern shiraz's around, they are a cooler climate style. We particularly like those from Rockcliffe, Singlefile, Howard Park (Scotsdale), Forest Hill.

Vinomofo has the Marchand and Burch (a premium sub label of Howard Park) shiraz's at the moment a Margaret River one and a Mount Barker. I preferred the Margs one of those

Do you think 3 years would be enough time for this 2019 drop to settle a bit? Will be my Dad’s 75 birthday, trying to plan ahead!
Get this for your dad
The memories will last a lot longer after the price is forgotten!
