VFF dom booking (extra seat) no online checkin possible?Note says I owe them more

VA Extra seat request booking.
All Au domestic flight.
48 hrs prior.
F100.
Paid Aud$6xx.
When I rang to book, that was all I had to pay.
No online check in possible?
Rang the GCC and agent couldn't tell me why.
Maybe they (VA) really do want me to fly QF again.
They really make it hard for us to like them, VA I mean.
Do they really want more $ from me?

Maybe it was extra seat booking that didn't allow me to do VA OLCI.
The check in person was able to print me out a BP.
No notation on it for extra seat booking though.
VA714 delayed, maybe it will be cancelled for all I know.
Will try QF again.
Virgin dom T1 combo lounge very luxe.

We had this a few weeks ago. VA moved us into row 3 after booking then wanted us to pay $$$ when we couldn't check in online. Call centre sorted it but was not impressed and (appropriately) let them know.

He didn't ask me for more $ tho.
Now I am not sure if I will keep my extra seat if they cancel my flight.
So I am not alone.
Pity VA/VFF is now so like, a third grade airline.
I just wanted to see the PER VAd lounge.
Will go QF next trip I come this way.
How I do miss AN as in the former Au airline Ansett.

No, just 1.
No notation
Flight ADL - PER delayed, so I dont hold much hope with the short turnaround.
Might have sit on the 17:00 PER - ADL F100.
Loud bad boy plane that one.
Noisy, yes
Hard seat, yes.
Limited overhead bin space, yes.
No 737s for VA on this sector this long weekend.

Got the seat next to me OK.
Takes a bit of getting used to, this F100.
Row 19A gives a very good view of wings in operation.
Also good view over outback SA.
All scared for nothing.
If anyone decides to book VAd extra seat request, this does not show on the 1 BP they issue unlike QF.
In my case, in the end, it worked out well.

Ok, so it did take a few days, but without having to do a retro claim, my extra seat SC and my own SC for flying VARA ADL - PER - ADL have appeared, ((plus the 5 VFF points per $1 for the extra seat and my own 5 VFF points per $1 PER - ADL, have been added to my VFF account)).
ADL - PER - ADL in go, only earns 10 VFF SC each way, so all up, 30 is right.
I didn't go for elevate, only getaway fare type.
