Had no troubles making 2 bookings yesterday and today - using my iPad. I always check the flights first then sign in as I'm making the booking. Do love the choice of seats during booking rather than the QF way of having to wait until after booking is confirmed before being able to choose seat.

Agreed but unfortunately they don't always hold.
MEL-CNS on Monday and CNS-MEL yesterday were both changed on us. We sat across the aisle on one and in different rows on the other.
 
Saw this in another thread about missing SC and points but the official rep is hinting at a single sign on sometime in December so may see some improvements then....


The key update that is coming soon will be the single sign-on in December.
Still to ascertain the other updates.
Will let you know when we have more info

That would be nice. The sign in, manage booking, sign in again! etc is getting old very quickly.

:confused:. Never had any of mine become un-sticky. I'd have been :evil: about that! I've only got one flight on VA for the rest of the year (SYD/MCY next Friday in J). Now it's QF that are giving out the lollies (50% bonus SC's) that have me interested, plus I have Family pooling creeping my SC count up.

Anyone else issues with booking redemption flights on the website? I can not get passed the personal details site. Keeps giving errors and believe me I filled in the phonenumbers exactly as requested. I have had this problem for months now. I know I can call them. But a visual person - need to see dates etc. Compare points and prices etc.

Any suggestions how to get around this?

Logged into my account etc.


EDIT: interestingly enough when I try to book a normal fare ticket (not redemption) everything works and is accepted ... mmmm.

I have had no problems since around April. I always log on before I start searching.

Did you try clearing all caches and cookies?
 
So I burnt some points up to try MEL-PER-MEL on VA on the A330 in J (knowing my luck it'll be XFA/XFB)

Was that during the booking process or afterwards?

I think it's quite common for the option to never be offered for A330 and E190 flights...I have never once been able to assign seats online on an E190.

Perhaps you are just having access issues but seat selection has been working fine for me both during and after booking for a couple of months now for paid and award seats. I've just checked some award bookings I have in November and I can change seats on all of them.

Have any of them been A330 or E190 flights?

Yet I have no access on an international reward flight.
 
It seems to be random people have different issues with their bookings, accounts access, seat changes etc. Strange....
