Hi, I am currently a velocity gold member and I have booked a few flights with Hawaiian Airlines through Zuji and have booked a few flights in USA directly on the Virgin America website. I was wondering will that still give me access to priority check in, boarding and access to the lounge?

yes you will. The koru club in SYD is not spectacular in particular, but a good place to while away though. Unlike hotels booked through 3rd party sites, flight bookings can make use of the loyalty program benefits even if booked through 3rd party sites. Just double check that your FFP no. is input into the system during check-in. :)

Thanks, can you make an advanced seat selection or will have to wait till check in?

Just call them via the gold line and that can be sorted out very easily.

Do you mean the VA gold line? I never realised that you could use that to select seats on partner airline tickets. Is this for most partners?

AFAIK you cannot if it's on a VA code. If you are on the partners code, you should be able to do a seat selection via the appropriate airlines website with the PNR you have.

You could put in a unconfirmed seat request via the gold line though.

How is this possible?

VA would not have access to a PNR made by ZUJI on HA or VX. Also Advanced seat selection is NOT a benefit on these 2 airlines for a VA GOLD member

sorry I didn't read the above posts and thought the OP bought a HA flight with VA code via some 3rd party site. With that I thought since it was a VA coded flight VA could read the PNR. Probably fatigue from my exam revision had took its toll :(
