It is annoying but you stlll have to ring to TF points. They give a warning that the recipient needs to earn or redeem points within 30 days, otherwise the transferred points will be forfeited!

Hubby got around 2K velocity points which will expire in 2 months time. Can I transfer 3K to hubby velocity account, and then transfer 5K back to my account? If cannot be done, then can hubby transfer his velocity points to a hotel proram, which one is recommended?

Sorry I made a mistake, minimum velocity points to be transferred must be 5K. So I will have to transfer 5K velocity points to hubby's account, then he transfers 7K to my account. I think my math is correct?

Yup - have done that myself with my dad's in the past

Disaster! I transferred 5K to hubby's velocity account, and checked hubby's account, it showed +5K points in his account and then -5K points out of his account 😢 What went wrong? Could it be his account has been inactive ??

PS - It was a mess because I have pooled hubby's points and SCs to my velocity account. I thought I have removed this family pooling, but have not done so. Now I have removed hubby from the family pool, and it will not be effective until another 24 hours. Fingers crossed that it will be fixed tomorrow so I can try again. Will report back on the outcome ...

Maybe, but my partner hadn't used his in years when his mum transferred in 250k points, so that shouldn't be an issue - your husband must have had activity in the last 12 months to still have any points, so by definition not inactive.
