I'll go back and have a look, considering it would only booked 2-3 days before travel and I had to travel on certain flights, IIRC the fare was north of $700. I'm also Gold, which accounts for the bonus points...

$700 for a return would be the top end of the Elevate range. Freedom you'd be looking at over $800.

Well....
I flew on 25 June PER to DRW. Had booked flight on 1 Feb (checked email). Just checked and no double status credits!!!!! Have got onto them and been told they will sort it manually by tomorrow. Heres hoping.
(PS. used points to upgrade on 2 Feb so all within promotion period.) Need to get them this month as review of platinum is coming close.
have also booked another 3 for this year during promotion.

Thanks AIRwin for your correction.

Well getting my double SC's worked with the platinum desk on the phone. Got a girl who must have been lower down the pecking order first time. Tried again an hour later and second lady knew the form exactly. Been credited my second lot of SC's today. OK for platinum again this year.

Ah, maybe these posts includes the DSC (well MEL was an Elevate or higher fare IIRC), just wish they'd notate it:

Maybe this one wasn't in the DSC
26 May 1929 May 19Virgin Australia, VA0981, Sydney-Brisbane+545+14
24 May 1927 May 19Virgin Australia, VA0966, Brisbane-Sydney+545+14

but this one was
14 May 1917 May 19Virgin Australia, VA0353, Melbourne-Brisbane+2,364(1,351 + 1,013 Bonus)+40
13 May 1916 May 19Virgin Australia, VA0308, Brisbane-Melbourne+2,364(1,351 + 1,013 Bonus)+40

I know I have another booked in August that was in the DSC...
I was on an elevate fare to Bris & got 40 SC which included the double SC. My points were similar (I'm gold) so I *don't think* you were on a Freedom fare? Super technical analysis, I know!!
$700 for a return would be the top end of the Elevate range. Freedom you'd be looking at over $800.
Finally got around to checking my flights. Yes, the fare basis was Elevate (Q), so DSC was calculated correctly to my MEL trip; whilst my SYD trip was Getaway (M/S), so 14 is correct as the doubled figure. Bonus 54 SC's though, worth it.

I use this tool to calculate (in the results page it quotes the fare codes): Qantas and Virgin Australia Points/Status Credit Calculator

Two more sectors coming up (PER/MEL/BNE) as i ticketed these 20 mins before the cut-off (midnight 27 May). Both Elevate (Q), so (30+20) x 2 will really help towards Gold re-qual.

Looks like DSCs came through on a modified booking, SYD-HBA Elevate for 30 SCs...

The revised date was in my new review period, so not complaining about that! :)

When you do your DSC run on the long weekend a day after your review date:

Review period took exactly two weeks and DSCs all posted in the new period.

Have a WP upgraded freedom fare to Perth later in the year SYD-MEL-PER in A330 all the way for 140 SCs to make up the remainder i.e (45+30) *2 for DSC.

Hybrid DUD run using muti-city trip to finish in Sydney rather than needing to go back through Hobart. Not as many SCs but enough to easily maintain with my regular travel patterns, and was similary priced.

Originally was going to have 3.5 days in Hobart but Virgin cancelled the late morning flight out of Hobart on Sunday so had to leave at sparrows. Then wasn't too convenient work wise to take the weekdays off so flew down Saturday morning. When the customs lady in NZ saw one day on my immigration card she said "So a bit too chilli for you eh!".

Points and double status credits already posted at the end of my flight to DPS today even though I booked it back in February...
