Velocity anniversary rolls over but comp upgrades delayed

Velocity anniversary rolls over into new year. Previous 12 months had 1340 SC enough to maintain Plat and give a comp gold.

However comp upgrades availability for the new year is delayed..ostensibly while they assess the membership status from last year...Not happy..... Review date 24 March. And VA said it might take 15 days.... not happy

I would email the plat desk and ask them to do a retro claim reconciliation on the dates/SCs because as at [insert date], you were entitled to [benefit].

I had to do this last year because I had to nag them to get a couple of flights acknowledged (booked via the VA website/VA marketed) to ensure WP status for another year. My email was brief but I stated if flights/SCs were credited at the correct time, benefit was achieved blah blah blah.

Even got an apology email in return, confirming status/benefit. Took about 2 days.

Yes but what I wanted were the comp upgrades. The Z fares are fast running out on the dates I want to travel which is soon.

They said to wait maybe 15 days after anniversary date.

Not happy. I think I will just cancel the flexi flights

I've had this happen too.

Especially for plats who have sufficient SCs in the bank months in advance of the review date, it shouldn't take weeks to deliver a benefit that we all agree is due.

The way it works now, you essentially get about eleven months out of the 12 in which to use your comps.

Seriously finished the year with over 1500 status credits earn't in the review period. Took almost a month for the "review" to finish!
