Hi

What is this VA pilot gold all about. Apparently I have x2 at my disposal that I can give to staff (anyone?) via my VA accelerate account. Are there any tricks, rules or other things I need to know about or can I just give these away on this site.

Any help appreciated.

I also wish to understand this concept.

My initial research seems to indicate that to first gain access to the program, you need to have spent $2000 with Virgin in three months of the "accelerate program account setup" phase. Then, once accepted, you need to clock up 80 SC within the next three months to go from the pilot program to actual Gold status with Virgin for a normal 12 month period. Am I understanding this correctly? Can anyone explain their concept in simple English?

With my current possible desire to change from QF, I am feeling enticed to lose my virginity with this bribe of pure gold.

The short explanation is that it’s effectivly a status challenge.

You’re granted SG for 3 months and must earn 80SC to retain SG.

The spend to qualify for Pilot Gold varies at VA discretion.

Matt, I’m pretty sure you can give it to anyone, but double check the Accelerate T&Cs to be sure.

Just one thing though, from what I heard, the $2000 spend on virgin is excluding taxes and fuel surcharges, so you may need to spend say $3000.. .

Or if all you want is access the VA lounges whilst you are building to Gold, you can use you Amex Platinum Card.

Yes, the $2000 spend is fare only not taxes. You have to state the position of the person in the business/company.

My friends temporarily became my marketing administration officer and financial administration officer. Easy enough to get around this in small business.
