Can anyone tell me if I can use the above at LAX or Dallas Fort Worth please?? (Can't use it when departing Melb as am on a domestic flight to Sydney). Thanking you in advance.

You can't use it in the US. The invitation probably says on it that you can't use it at LAX. I don't think QANTAS operates their own lounge in DFW. You can only use the invitation at a QANTAS operated lounge.

There are three flights from LAX to AU all leaving around the same time, not to mention flights for other carriers that use the lounge. The lounge in LAX get overcrowded enough without allowing complimentary invitations.

You can use the invitation to access the QANTAS Club before a domestic flight but obviously using it to access the international business lounge is better.

So you won't have enough time in Sydney to make it worthwhile using the lounge pass before your international flight from there?

Thankyou for your reply. No I won't have time in Sydney unfortunately! Can you tell me if this has altered recently (or not recently), I have previously used other airline lounges in I think Bangkok and/or Dubai?

Yes the lounge passes can be used to access domestic QANTAS Club or QANTAS operated International Business lounges except for the one in LAX.

So you could arrive early in Melbourne and access the QANTAS Club there or save the pass for another trip if it's really not worth using it in SYD to access the International Business lounge there before your international flight in your opinion.

Flights can be delayed especially if the plane you're flying on arrives at the airport late and needs some unscheduled maintenance so you can end up with more lounge time than you're expecting.

FINALLY, any ideas if I can use it in Seattle? I will be on a domestic connection to LAX (then LAX-Melb)??

Passes have never been accepted at LAX due to the fact it is a OneWorld lounge, not a Qantas lounge (it just happens to be operated by QF).

No. The AS lounge in SEA is not operated by QANTAS. As previously advised in this thread no lounge in the US will accept one of these guest passes. Sorry.

Thanks, could you tell me please, is it only in the U.S they are not accepted? (I would like to use in the future in Bangkok or elsewhere)?

The London Lounge won't open till midyear I believe. I think HKG QF lounge should also accept the pass.

Yes, it should open then assuming there are no further significant delays. I may end up flying from LHR just before or after the lounge opens. Anyway if I miss out this time I can visit it on my next trip there.

As mviy has already indicated for you in message #2:

'You can only use the invitation at a QANTAS operated lounge.'

I believe the OP asked about DFW and some friends used the passes I gave them in DFW recently

Qantas owned lounges. LAX is QF operated, but not owned, and therefore passes cant be used there.

If you are referring to the QF passes, your friends are lucky

Tend to agree.. seems unlikely the AAdmirals Club would accept them UNLESS a) QF has some sort of agreement there (seems unlikely) or b) the Lounge Angel got confused with the QC membership entry agreement and let them in.

Good result for them, but I would not expect to get in to DFW with one of those QF passes.

Hi, not sure if this answer has been posted elsewhere but I just can't find it.

I have a Qantas invitation pass which expires in Dec 2017. Can I use this for the Sydney Qantas domestic lounge even though I'm not flying Qantas? I'm travelling to Griffith in Nov and the only airline offering this service there is Rex Regional Express. Thanks.
