Of course the prevailing (trickle down) economic theory is that the benefits of tax cuts will flow through lower socioeconomic classes in terms of additional investment and employment. The extent of these effects of such are of course debatable.

It is true, however, that rioting is decreasing courtesy of the successful Operation Legend, which has achieved thousands of arrests against the domestic terrorists looting, burning, vandalising and assaulting on the streets of major cities. AG Barr is doing a terrific job.

I have no idea whether the allegations against tictoc are well founded (on balance probably are). Will be interesting to see how the courts rule in regard to the executive order - see ABC article below.

What is not clear (other than tictoc being utilised exhaustively to lampoon Trump) is why the same attention has not been paid to wechat which is well known for its censorship, monitoring of all, and interception of some, user communications, and continuous exchange of user data with the CCP. What happened in the early days was undoubtedly tragic but there was so little understood at that time. Information that came out of New York re inflammation and deaths in younger patients from strokes really helped in preventing deaths as the virus spread.

let’s have a look at some stats in more recent days. California did get the virus early and deaths have continued. Florida and Texas were very late to start getting infected. However deaths per million:-
