Hi i am a Newbie and have just seen your question.
We holidayed in the US in April 06, and used autodriveaway.com to go from Boston to Chicago. we were provided with a 12 month old Volvo X90, at no cost and five days to make the trip.Absolutley fabulous!
tips:- you must be over 23, and you must provide a driving record (available from Police Department or Transport Department).Talk to the operators of the offices well in advance and they will look after you. Free drivers are hard to find!
My two adult chldren used the service in December from Chicago to Syracuse, again hassle free (stress the free) motoring
Good luck

Do these driveaway companies exist in Europe? Anyone have any links?
