Hi, This is my first post but I have been learning lots of new stuff from these boards in the past few weeks which has been great. But now I have a bit of a dilemma.
Me and my boyfriend are planning a round the world trip starting in August this year, lasting for 12 months. We have been given a quote of $2640 per person to fly Brisbane - Los Angeles - New York - London - Singapore - Brisbane (dummy dates for all legs beyond New York as they are unable to book, but we get a free date change).
We got the quote on Monday but now have been told that unless we pay tomorrow morning we will loose the quoted price as Qantas will no longer be flying via Singapore from Europe. Has anyone else had this experience?? I looked up the Qantas website which clearly states they will still fly to Singapore, but with an amended timetable.
I don't know whether I should just pay tomorrow, or wait. I was going to try and get a new credit card to take advantage of Qantas FF points for the purchase.
Thanks so much for your help!
