I am currently booked on an economy group fare (class U) to Europe in September. I have enough FF points to upgrade, but it appears this is not allowed on a U class ticket. Has anybody got around this restriction? I cannot change to another class ticket, even paying more money, because there are no seats available in the economy classes YBMSE on the date I have to travel.
