presumably because I have a Qantas points-earning credit card:
Helps explain why the recent batch of award seats included flights to CDG.Interesting, are forward loads struggling?
Surely with QR doubling its Aussie flights essentially overnight this is starting to bite across the market.Interesting, are forward loads struggling?
QF may know those who will usually pay top dollar.Held the QF Titanium card for a few months now, but didn't get targeted![]()
Might entice a few out of Adelaide.ADL-SYD-CDG return was just over $10k before discount. Not a bad deal ex ADL
From the fine print:Held the QF Titanium card for a few months now, but didn't get targeted![]()
Interesting that for the dates I had a Quick Look at SYD-CDG return was just under $12k before the discount whereas ADL-SYD-CDG return was just over $10k before discount. Not a bad deal ex ADL
Same price for ADL-PER-CDG return. That's probably because it would be ADL-SYD-PER-CDG, so it is 2 stops. The Croweaters could fly 1 stop via SIN/DXB/DOH instead, less hassle, and not to mention avoid the dreaded D-I Terminal transfer in SYD .....

Same price for ADL-PER-CDG return.
If I was to fly QF that would be the way I’d go. No way am I going through the SYD hassle.
QR is about $11k so I’d have to consider if around the $2k per pax saving is worth it over QSuites all the way, Al Safwa access and a stopover in the fantastic Doha![]()
