Just looking at options to send two of my kids as UMs to see their grandparents in the UK. Ex-BNE, QF options require transitting SYD or MEL, while using the EK flights removes this requirement. The kids will be nearly 14 and 8 at the time of travel.
I'd prefer to book on the QF codeshare as the kids are both PS so will accrue a few miles along the way and it won't hurt the lifetime SCs (start them early

Does anyone know how / if UMs are handled when booked on the QF codeshare flights? Will EK provide the service? Or do I have to book the EK flight numbers?
