I've booked 2 x Classic Award J PER-SYD-HNL for Wednesday, 21 October 2015 but unable to book any Classic Award (in either J or Y) for our inbound journey 9/10/11 days after we arrive.

Is it because I'm Bronze? Happy to fly Y HNL-SYD as its a day flight but would prefer J SYD-PER. I know I'll need to call as I know I can't mix classes booking via the website, but I still can't see any inbound Classic Award flights.

I have around 500k FF points.

Any help would be at appreciated, thankyou.

When you booked the outbound legs did you do a PER/HNL availability or a multi city ie PER/SYD & SYD/HNL?

How about looking HNL to BNE, SYD or MEL first and see if that shows availability.

Hi ozbeachbabe, thanks for your reply. When I booked, I did a PER/HNL availability. Does this affect anything? I'm new to points redemption.

Thanks for the BNE and MEL tips, I didn't think of that. Cheers.

Sometimes if there is not availability on both sectors it will say no seats so look for the flight ex HNL to Aust first then you can work out your onward flight to PER.

It may also be worth pricing a commercial ticket on JQ (QF one way fares are higher) as there are times when it's better value to hang on to the points & just buy a fare particularly when fares are lower now than 30 years ago.

Great advice, thankyou so much for your help!
