TV series discussion {'ware Spoiler Alert}

Stranger Things season 4 returns tomorrow on Netflix and Obi Wan Kenobi premiers on Disney.

Well Stranger Things season 4 resolved minimal plot points and left quite a few loose ends for the final season to tie up.

Am enjoying Obi-Wan the pace is much betetr than Book of Bobba Fet which was so so slow.

Still liking The First Lady, Michelle Pfeiffer is killing it.

I am loving it
You can change settings to Danish audio with English subtitles - no need to put up with the dubbing
Its veeery topical !
Just finished chaining the season. I am not sure if the conclusion was convincing and reckon they could have built that over an extra episode or two.

Ok
Yes - a little neat
Although ….. having been in CPH during a real election day and watching it live you do see some weird alliances that make you think its Borgen
Its a long cold weekend in Melb … onto Das Boot

Tried it but moved on I'm afraid.

Personally found season 3 and 4 stronger than the earlier ones, each to their own. Now that we have a better understanding of 11's connection to the upsidedown looking forward to how they close the remaining loose ends in the second half of season 4 which is yet to drop.

For those who like to forget the chaos of life and enjoy those low key crime dramas the Brits do so well in bucolic locales with murder rates that rival large urban cities…. ‘Murder in Provence’ on Britbox set in Aix en Provence (although I read most was filmed outside Reading - but lots in Aix). We saw the restaurant we ate at during one trip - a stinking hot summer - where the owners helpfully sprayed a fine mist of water every 30 mins or so to the tables to refresh the patrons!! Evian it was not….
Main roles taken by Lady Felicia (from Father Brown) who plays a criminal psychologist and that senior detective from Endeavor (her partner and a judge).
Then every week you see the added superannuated worthies from Midsummer Murders/Morse/Lewis for good measure.
I love this type of show (acknowledging many dont).
Enjoy

Great timing thanks - I have a 2 month Britbox which I probably won't continue but will check this out. I have read all the books in this series and love them.

Have just started this. Given that I’m house bound today thanks to an east coast low this will help pass a few hours enjoyably.

Also not sure if anyone here watched The Split but final series now here
The wonderful Nicola Walker (Last Tango in Halifax/Unforgotten) and Steve Mangan
Beautifully cast and I cannot wait to get into this

On last night.

2 days of filming here for a commercial last week. Interesting to see the creative processes, even for a commercial.
