I tried to do the match with my QR Gold. The TK customer relations team gave me the runaround and turned me down after wasting my time.
- I sent the match request through the feedback
- TK asked for a photo of my passport, QR membership card, and QR statement.
- After sending the requested information, TK asked me to visit one of their sales offices to apply for the match.
- After the visit, TK informed me that QR Gold is not equivalent to Star Alliance Gold.
- I tried to reason with them. However, the team replied with the same canned response over and over.
Saying I was frustrated is an understatement. They should have told me at Step 3. I would happily move on without wasting more time.
