I'm trying to change my seat allocation on a BA flight. When I use their Change/View seat option in Manage My Booking, I can see that seat 64A is available. However, once I click on 'passenger' (myself), 64A becomes unavailable to select. If I unclick on 'passenger', 64A becomes available again.
The only reason I can think of is that this seat has a cot. Perhaps it is being held in case a passenger is travelling with an infant.
Is it worth phoning BA and asking if they can give me the seat?
Thanks

I'd try different browsers; clearing cookies, caches the whole thing ....

Once satisfied that none of that is going to work; a call to BA should do the trick.

I was quite surprised last year when on a BA codeshare on QF2 I was able to select seats on the Qantas metal using BQ.com MMB.

Of course, my preferred exit aisle could not be selected in this manner - a quick call to Qantas premium did the trick. ;)

Hmm - are you using a QF or AA number?

I had issues for some of my BA flights on the recent big personal trip that I could select seats on some flights but not others...

Thanks Serfty.. I tried all the browser stuff but no luck. So I called BA and they said they had no access to the seat map so couldn't change it.. Sounds like I got through to the wrong person.
Anyhow, I called up the QF premium desk as you suggested and hey presto! they were able to give me 64A!:D:D Thanks for the suggestions...

simongr, I was using a QF number and was using the BA booking ref on the BA website.
