Interesting experience. Am going SYD-DWF-La Guardia on the same day in J. Not eligible for chauffeur drive when I arrive in NY. Was told the only flight eligible is QF 107, all AA flights are not. So unless you can get yourself on 107, you can not use it.

On the way back, was not elgible for 108, which is a Qantas operated flight: the reason: less than 12 hour flight.

So out of the 6 flights, only 2 eligible.

is this misleading advertising saying that NY is an included city?

Were you stopping over in LAX on the way back?

If not arriving on a qf flight would not expect it.

If connecting say qf108-94 I would be disappointed if not getting it. If breaking journey in lax, fair enough.l

I'd only expect it where it says it is available. Any other situation, I don't know why you'd be disappointed if you aren't entitled to it.
If you buy a Y ticket, would you be disappointed that you wouldn't be able to fit in the F cabin? :o

Chauffeur Drive | Qantas

OP, look at my link to the official site - it clearly states that CD is for eligible flights, not eligible cities that particular eligible flights arrive into.

In particular it does not say that New York is an eligible city. Only for SYD and LAX for QF107/108.

From 5 June 2013, eligible customers will be able to book the Chauffeur Drive service for Qantas international flights between Australia and Los Angeles, and Australia and Dallas, for travel from 1 July 2013.

Chauffeur Drive will be extended to other international flights greater than 12 hours long progressively in 2014.
