Since 1 October 2014, anyone travelling to and from South Africa with children under the age of 18, to be in posession of a fully Unabridged Birth Certificate, in addition to a valid passport.
Children under the age of 18 have to travel with their parents. If one of the parents show no presence, the parent travels with the children under the age 18;
A letter of consent should be in possesion.
A copy of the divorce decree should be in possesion in case of divorce.
A copy of the death certificate should be in possession in case the one of the parents has died.
