Just ordered those tickets. $400 for the pair. At least 25% made up of ridiculous fees

Yes I heard our sons allocations were paltry and the delivery fees were extortionate.

This just in:
Dear Customer,

The purchase of confirmed tickets is being postponed while CoSport experiences a processing issue.

Results of the ticket lottery remain intact and in your account, with confirmed tickets available for purchase at a later date, soon to be announced.

Please check back for updates, including an Email announcing the extended purchase period. Thank you.

Experience the Games with CoSport!
I would suggest that many people are trying to experience the games with cosport but are not impressed so far.

They seem to change the process everyday. Not like they can say they were surprised by the amount of interest. Farcical

Wednesday will be the next ticketing attempt. We have the best internet so multiple computers will be used to try to get tickets.

For those playing along at home:
The following opportunity to purchase Olympic tickets will be on a first come-first served basis now beginning Wednesday 10 July, 10am AEST, when customers will enter an online queue tracking user time in a free and fair manner. When a user’s queue enters the live sale, available tickets, packages and prices will be displayed on an interactive grid for selection.

They were a nightmare to deal with for London 2012 too. I was a part of a group who were sourcing tickets and they were just a nightmare. I can't remember details but I do remember tearing my hair out.

One thing I do remember, and it may not be applicable to all here, but under EU law if you are resident of one EU country you can purchase from any EU country reseller (I was based in the UK and acquired multiple tickets through the German provider).

Some of the smaller countries were particularly handy for rare tickets such as the ceremonies.

Goodness this is just blowing out. Surprised the news aren't onto this

CoSport has delayed sale dates for Tokyo 2020 due to processing issues amid record-high demand.

Results of the earlier ticket lottery are complete, with successfully-drawn tickets secured in account carts. The confirmed ticket winners will be able to process payments next week.

Live Sales are now scheduled to begin July 9 in U.S. and Europe and July 10 in Australia.

Thank you for your patience.

And now changed again to 9am EST wednesday, so brought forward an hour.

Not quite sure why this change.

Did anyone have much luck with the first come first served sale this morning?

I saw two manning multiple computers this morning as I headed off to work. I believe they were buying Olympic tickets so I hope that was worthwhile.

We have been talked into going so we are acquiring tickets. I want to see handball and lots of other events.

Just booked a small hotel room for what I consider to be a reasonable price, given the location and dates.

Pretty happy to have that done.

Flights can wait a while me thinks, since I won't be using redemptions.

We have just booked JAL on Qantas points from Sydney to Tokyo to get there the day before the opening ceremony. It is business class and a daylight flight so that works. I think we can go to the First Lounge seeing we are both WPs.
Actually my youngest son did the booking on his laptop seeing we are not in Perth.

We spent a night in Tokyo quite a few years ago GarrettM. Have been stopping enroute to Los Angeles as Singapore Airlines would refuel in Narita. I would watch sumo wrestling in the lounge.
