I have had Triple Bypass surgery 14 years with annual assessment by a cardiologist, and there no issues.
Any hints as to Travel Insurance cover that will not break the bank - I only need Medical cover as I am covered for everything else by my Credit cards insurance. I am happy to provide full medical details and copy of Cardiologist report, but there does't seem any company that will let you past the online assessment

Hi tony wright,
I got insurance with AllClear with a couple of issues including a stent and some low grade bladder cancers. It was quite expensive but obviously necessary. The insurer is Mitsui Sumitomo and you can declare pre-existing and get a quote on line. They are probably very busy at the moment. We covered two trips this year, both now cancelled and if there are any losses for us their website says we should be covered since we bought the insurance in September 19 before Covid. They may work out of the same office as Insure and Go that Pushka mentions

I have a policy with NIB as i am 73 and had a cardiac infarction about 9 years ago. I do have my normal family health cover with them so it may be a factor. Really good to deal with and rates are very good. We have a trip in June to August this year which has the hotels fully booked and paid for on the card (non refundable). it would appear that the trip will not eventuate so I am now looking at recovering the hotel fees paid. That is another story and looking for advice on recovery. I will follow this up on another post in the forum.
