Thanks I can use that too, but want to wait a month to get the full value. Did it say it was time limited?

I'm also keen to know this. My annual multi-trip cover for 2 expires in a few weeks. Would rather pay then as opposed to today.

You may have missed my edit since put on ... EDIT: just saw this on another site and it says "expires 13th April 2015".

I also just used ( 4 days ago ) the code SAVEOAC which says expired on ozbargain. It still deducted 10% off the premium...Always worth a try

not as good as the TID 10% offer, but the code 'utimes' works at Insure4Less for 2.5% off

I've found them to be cheaper than TID anyway, and suit my needs

I use either TID or insure and go (they have a five star cannex rating). I always use whoever is cheaper. Currently I find insure and go is generally cheaper, you can use the code entertainment15, for 15% off

I just looked at the product review of Insure and go and there are many complaints in the reviews on the first page at least. InsureandGo Australia Reviews - ProductReview.com.au
Seems most complaints are because they don't read the pds, eg:
My son chose to come home early after becoming unwell in Mexico. He sought medical advice (the doctor did not speak English) but because he did not contact the insurance company or get further advice, InsureandGo will not pay any cancellation costs. He was unable to get reception to speak to us and was in no fit state to think to ring them. He preferred to get home than be in hospital in Mexico. The woman we dealt with was rude and said he didn't fulfil his obligation according to the policy. Th only people they cover are themselves! BEWARE

Every insurance company has the similar requirements and if you don't follow the rules they won't pay!
agree that staff shouldn't be rude, but you can't complain if you don't read the pds.
I'm happy choosing between the two, I'm sure most here would make an educated decision.

Lets go back to the OP where he has had a discount code sent to him. Is this code for his use or is it for everyone who wants to use it ?? Would hate to see someone try to put in a claim just to be told that the policy is not valid due to a discount code being not available to the insured.
We all know how insurance companies will do anything to get out of a payout

Just checked the email that I received.

It has the lines -

Know someone going on a trip?
Pass on the savings.

From that, I assume that anyone can use it.

Fair enough, I have a deep seated dis-trust of insurance companies. Actually my Yearly policy runs out early April so may use the code myself. Thanks

Understandable really.

At the end of the day they are there to make profits and not really to look after people.

Has anyone actually made a claim through these guys ?
Are they quick and easy to deal with relative to other travel insurance providers ?
I keep hearing these ads on the radio about medibank travel insurance that has 24/7 phone to support to immediately deal with travel disruptions and lost luggage, etc just wondering how these guys compare ?

Cheers
