Came across this as a suggested post on facebook - Travel Holmes
https://www.facebook.com/pages/Travel-Holmes-Australia/309544065840949

They're advertising the lowest prices I have seen in a long time - i.e. US (I assume LAX for $999) and:

EUROPE DEAL ALERT:
21 days visiting: Prague (Czech Republic) , Vienna (Austria), Budapest (Hungary) , Berlin (germany) and Krakow(Poland)
PRICE includes:
20 hotel nights in 4*/5* hotels with breakfast

Internal flights
Return Flight tickets in Economy class.
2299 Au$

And:

KUALA LUMPUR DEAL ALERT:
-5 nights in a 5* hotel (incl. breakfast)
- Return tickets in economy class
Dep. Perth Adelaide: 569 Au$
Dep. Other cities: 679 Au$

And:

Fly to IRELAND from 1099Au$!

I noticed you have to pay a $100-$200 'finders fee' if you like their quote - I'm guessing they package deals slightly below cost and then make a profit on the finders fee?

Are these guys legit? I'm sure ppl would happily pay $999 to LAX with a finders fee on top provided it wasn't UA or DL....

Not sure what the fishing is like in Portsmouth, UK where the domain is hosted but I smell something fishy, especially as it would appear to be Italian in origin, perhaps their speciality is one way Nigerian trips!

Trust your gut, if you're the slightest bit concerned save your money.

Remember if it looks too good to be true, it's probably a fraud.

Hi, I´ve
used travelholmes to travel to Argentina from Australia. You have to think that if they dont ask you for a comision in advance, and give you the information for free, you could buy your ticket through another webpage and Travel Holmes would not earn any money...
In my case, thanks to Travel Holmes I saved 1500 Au$..so from my experience i can only say is not a fake, and that is really recommendable.

hmm. not sure i'd take the recommendation from a single post user... I don't see any complaints on their Facebook page, but then they could be easily deleting them..

Especially considering the syntax of the language being used doesn't sound Australian to me.

Also, the 1500 Au$ is not typical of how we denote our currency...

Ah yes, it's on Facebook it must be true...........not. :D

I live in Australia most of the year, but I´m argentinian, thats why my syntax may not be perfect.
I´m not really interested in discussing with you about how trustable is this firm, its up to you to make your own experience with it or prefering not to do it.
Wish you all the best!

Well their webpage doesn't have a travel agents licence number or a travel compensation fund number.
Also there appear to be a multitude of online travel websites who have a relationship with Global travel SLU of gran canaria.
It looks suspiciously like a place I would avoid.

You signed up to AFF just to tell us this website is legit? You must feel very passionately about it!

just noticed on their facebook page some deal where a poster had asked for more details of the offer. The response was that you had to message the company.

That doesn't seem quite right to me. If you have a good deal and you want to sell it (and make money) then surely you'd want to be advertising that? (and not wasting time).
